INVITATIONS TO TRY
Pick up something – a stone, a leaf, a pinecone, or a magnolia pod – and hold it in your hand. Observe it with each of your senses, first with your eyes open, then with your eyes closed.
Pick out one being (a tree, a rock, a flower, a leaf...) and explore it using your five primary senses (touch, smell, sight, hear, taste) - and do this once a day.
...WANDER. TUNE IN. SLOW DOWN. WITNESS. BE...
What do you find around you in the shapes and the colors? Each walk, being, and shadow could offer something different if we are present enough to see it and not in a hurry to walk by.
What is in motion? Be still and notice what is in motion around you. Slow your thoughts, breathe, and let nature do its thing.
Tune into each of your senses. What do you see? What do you hear? What do you feel? What do you smell?
